Therefore it is TAP Virtual responsibility to guide its operations in an extremely professional and educational manner.
In order to achieve these goals, the selection of applicants to pilot should follow the below minimal criteria:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- Applicants must have Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 or Microsoft Flight Simulator X or P3D or XPLANE 11 or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
- Portuguese and English languages are mandatory.
- Any dual or false data will incur in the annulment of the application process.
- Applicants must present their real identity. Nicknames are not allowed.
Applicants must understand that, as a TAP Virtual pilot, they are expected to behave in a professional manner within the company and when flying on-line as well.
The Company´s Manual must be strictly followed.
Members of other companies that emulate virtual TAP Virtual will not be accepted
Flights can be operated on-line on whatever network (VATSIM / IVAO) or off-line. Nevertheless, the progression within the company is facilitated for pilots who do on-line flights.
The applicant must understand that TAP Virtual expects their members to honour and comply with the politics described in the operations manual. Any violations to the behaviour code may cause the pilot to be expelled.
Application
- The process of application for TAP Virtual pilot starts by filling in a form.
- Applications are subject to the number of vacancies available in the company.
- Candidates who have successfully completed both exams, will subsequently send via email to the department of human resources, a scanned document or card proving the name, age and photo.
- Every application accepted will undergo a verification to exclude potential fraud.
